The Wallis Student Arts Reporters

This season The Wallis Student Arts Reporters program will broaden its focus through diverse workshops on arts journalism centered around our three programming genres: dance, music and theater. Recommended Age: 12-21. Cost for the program is $50.00. Students will work with various Los Angeles journalists who work on arts features, interviews, new media and critical writing. Projects will range from interviewing artists to creating new media content such as videos and podcasts, as well as writing reviews of performances throughout the season.

Students will be required to attend two workshops and to write a reflective piece about their experiences. Work by the Student Arts Reporters will be posted on TheWallis.org, featured in The Wallis Post and promoted via social media.
