DANCE RESOURCE CENTER HOMEGROWN

Dance Resource Center/DRC's Community Residencies and Performance Opportunities/HomeGrown program, is a multi-site collaboration with LA County dance institutions and community centers to provide free, accessible, welcoming, sustainable studio space, to empower the creation, work and rehearsal process and offer paid performance opportunities for movement artists and companies from generally marginalized communities. DRC's HomeGrown program has supported 100+ choreographers/companies/creatives, 500+ performing artists, the creation of over 50 new works as well as bolstering local studios, nonprofits and businesses.
