After careful consideration, The Wallis has made the difficult decision that the January 10,2026 Tonality: Just Me concert will no longer take place as scheduled.
We want to begin by speaking from the heart to our Transgender and entire LGBTQIA+ community. As we are genuinely disappointed to not share this performance as planned, the community is deeply valued, respected, and welcomed. We are grateful for the LGBTQIA+ artists and audiences who bring their full selves, voices, and lived experiences into our shared space, and we recognize how essential that presence is to the community we continue to build together.
Please note that ticket holders should contact The Wallis box office at 310-746-4000 with inquiries.
Our commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community is strong and we look forward to sharing information about future programming soon.
We are also deeply thankful for Tonality and for the care, honesty, and artistry they bring to our stage. Their work creates moments of connection, reflection, and belonging that stay with us long after the performance ends.
Looking ahead, we’re grateful to share that Tonality will return for a concert on March 28. More details will be announced in the new year.
Music @ The Wallis is generously made possible by Terri and Jerry Kohl.
With open-hearted singing and fearless honesty, GRAMMY-winning vocal ensemble TONALITY returns to The Wallis with Just Me—a powerful evening of music centered on the lived experiences of transgender and non-binary individuals. Under the direction of Dr. Alexander Lloyd Blake, the LA-based chorus transforms the concert stage into a space of solidarity. Through original works and soulful arrangements, Just Me celebrates the resilience of our non-binary and trans community. It confronts the injustices they continue to face, and invites us to listen.
Here, care becomes chorus. Each song becomes a story, each harmony a step toward healing. Join us for a transformative night of sharing the joys, pains, and strength of finding oneself.
With a deep commitment to social change, TONALITY brings together a diverse community of voices to reflect the richness of human experience.
ASL interpretation will be provided for this performance.
