7:30 PMAn evening of virtuosic chamber performances, featuring soloists Yura Lee in one of the earliest known Viola Concertos, Telemann’s Concerto in G Major, and David Washburn performing a hidden gem: the charming pre-classical Concerto for Trumpet in E-flat Major, by little-known Czech composer Johan Baptist Georg Neruda. The program also features Corelli’s rich and festive Concerto Grosso, Opus 6, No. 4; Geminiani’s charming Concerto Grosso in D Major; and Handel’s grand Concerto Grosso in A Major, Opus 6, No. 11, one of the most celebrated works for strings from the Baroque era.
