The Wallis is proud to welcome back the Pacific Jazz Orchestra, fresh from their inaugural season, this 40-piece orchestra is not one to be missed. Featuring powerhouse musicians, the evenings’ program effortlessly combines a diverse range of styles, genres, and backgrounds.
ANAT COHEN is an internationally acclaimed Israeli jazz clarinetist and saxophonist known for her dynamic performances and genre-blending style. A multiple Grammy nominee, Cohen seamlessly weaves together jazz, swing, Brazilian choro, and Middle Eastern influences, earning her widespread recognition as a leading voice on the clarinet. As a bandleader, composer, and collaborator, she has performed on prestigious stages worldwide, bringing warmth, virtuosity, and an infectious spirit to her music.
TIERNEY SUTTON is an nine-time Grammy-nominated jazz vocalist known for her impeccable phrasing, lush tone, and innovative interpretations of the Great American Songbook. As the longtime leader of the Tierney Sutton Band, she has crafted a signature sound defined by sophisticated arrangements and deep musical storytelling. With a career spanning over two decades, Sutton has captivated audiences worldwide, earning acclaim for her artistry, emotional depth, and commitment to musical excellence.
