2:00 PMThe bestselling author of A Gentleman in Moscow, Amor Towles joins ALOUD/Library Foundation of Los Angeles and The Wallis for the first time to discuss his new book, Table for Two. Comprised of six short stories and a novella that centers around beloved character Evelyn Ross from The Rules of Civility, Table for Two’s stories take place around the year 2000, examining the fateful consequences that can spring from brief encounters and the delicate mechanics of compromise that operate at the heart of modern marriages. Written with Towles’s signature wit, humor, and sophistication, Table for Two delivers another enchanting, page-turning read. This event will be moderated by the award winning author Maggie Shipstead.
