Founded by husband-and-wife team Ian Carney and Eleanor Carney, the company blends storytelling, music, and illuminated puppetry to create visually inventive family productions seen everywhere from international stages to America's Got Talent. In this updated adventure, Tortoise and Hare are now parents whose children—Tortoise Junior and Lil’ Hare—have disappeared into a digital world of smartphones and video games, forcing the longtime rivals to team up once again. Using glowing LED puppets, immersive projections, and a lively score inspired by both classical and pop music, Lightwire Theatre brings the story to life with warmth, humor, and imagination.
